Earth Day 2026 implemented by SCDC Odisha in Aspiration District of Odisha

Science Education at School level

Science Education at School level in Rural Villages faces several problems. Mostly in Rural Villages, teachers follow the traditional way of teaching using talk and chalk and using the Text books for teaching, because of this methodology, students cann't be able to understand the concept clearly and it makes them no interest towards Science.

The teachers need to adopt new teaching methodologies to create interest among the students. The knowledge of the teachers has been upgraded and skills have been strengthened to innovate the various methods for teaching science through activity based i.e. through demonstration of the concepts.
